San Antonio police are still looking for the suspect vehicle that struck a man on Interstate 10, Sunday.

According to police, a wrong-way vehicle was seen traveling along I-10 and parked at the Boerne Stage exit. As the driver stepped out of the car, he was then struck by two passing vehicles. Instead of helping the victim, its drivers sped off. A third vehicle that struck the pedestrian again remained at the scene and waited for police to arrive.

When responding officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Juan Pablo Villareal.

No one else was injured.

Investigators did not confirm if the driver of the third vehicle will be facing charges.
