San Antonio—Man Struck by Vehicle on Picoso Street

A fatal pedestrian collision took the life of one person on Picoso Street near Colima last Thursday morning, last January 31.
At around 10:45 a.m., the San Antonio Police Department responded to said streets after receiving a call reporting an accident. According to initial reports, a Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading north on Picoso Street when it suddenly veered off the road, jumped on the curb, hitting a pedestrian in the process. Preliminary investigation shows that the driver of the pickup truck may have suffered a medical emergency during the time of the incident.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead by emergency crews. He was identified only as a man in his 50s.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene. His identification has not been released.
The investigation is still ongoing.
