San Antonio – Man Killed after Truck Accident on I-10

The San Antonio Police Department is investigating a truck collision on Interstate 10, Monday night.

At around 7:30 p.m., local troopers responded to Interstate 10 in the Northeast Side after receiving a call reporting a crash involving two 18-wheeler trucks. A white Chevrolet Sliverado was seen traveling along the area when it was rear-ended by a green Freightliner 18-wheeler truck that was reportedly speeding. The force of the impact pushed the Chevrolet onto another 18-wheeler’s trailer, killing him in the process. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.

Authorities only identified the victim as a 51-year-old man.

No other injuries were reported at this time.

Investigators arrived at the scene to determine liability.
