San Antonio – Man Died Following a Pedestrian Crash on Enrique M Barrera Pkwy

The San Antonio Fire Department is conducting an investigation about a pedestrian collision on Enrique M. Barrera Parkway, Wednesday morning.

According to a local news source, the incident took place at approximately 6:30 a.m. in the 5800 block of Enrique M. Barrera Parkway near Jerome Road. A male pedestrian was attempting to cross the street when a passing vehicle struck him. He sustained significant injuries and was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. Officials have not released the identity of the victim.

Police did not provide information about the driver involved. Whether or not he remained at the scene is still unconfirmed.

An investigation is underway.
