San Antonio – James Peter Lee Struck and Killed by a Car on San Pedro Avenue

The San Antonio Police Department has released the name of the victim who died in a fatal pedestrian collision on San Pedro Avenue, early Wednesday morning.
Authorities identified the victim as James Peter Lee.
According to initial reports, the deadly crash took place at around 6:30 a.m. on San Pedro Avenue near Langton Drive, not far from Loop 410 and North Star Mall. Lee was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a Toyota Camry that was traveling southbound on San Pedro.
Lee suffered from life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The woman told police she did not see Lee because it was still dark at the time of the crash and that he crossed right in front of her.
SAPD is investigating the case.
