San Antonio – Hit-and-run Driver Struck and Killed a Motorcyclist on Military Drive

A driver who fled the scene of the crash on Military Drive is still at large, according to a San Antonio police official, early Monday morning.
According to initial reports, an accident involving a motorcycle and a van took place at around 6:00 a.m. on the eastbound lane of Highway 151 access road near West Military Highway. A van was heading west on the highway when it ignored a stop signal and ultimately colliding with a motorcycle. Police said that the motorcyclist was attempting to make a turn to Military when the accident happened.
The motorcylist, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. He was wearing a helmet.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van did not stop to help the victim. His identification and location remain unknown at this time.
An investigation is underway.
