San Antonio – Hit-and-Run Collision on Bandera Road Leaves Woman Injured

San Antonio law enforcement officials are looking for the driver who fled the scene after getting involved in an auto versus pedestrian crash on Bandera Road, Saturday night.
At around 10:00 p.m., local troopers responded to a crash at 900 block of Bandera Road. Police said that a woman was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian, identified only as a 52-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries from the impact of the collision. She was rushed to a nearby hospital with multiple injuries, including a broken pelvis, head trauma. Recent reports said that she is recovering.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim and escaped the scene. He has not been identified at this time.
Authorities continue to investigate the case.
