San Antonio – George Vasquez Died in Car Vs Tree Crash on Old Corpus Christi

The teen driver who died in a car accident on Old Corpus Christi Road in San Antonio has been identified by San Antonio local officials, according to a local news source.

The fatality was identified as 19-year-old George Anthony Vasquez.

Initial investigation shows that the incident took place at the 9600 block of Old Corpus Christi just after 4:00 a.m., Sunday. Vasquez was seen driving an undescribed vehicle along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it left the roadway and struck a tree nearby. The vehicle then rolled over before coming to rest.

Vasquez sustained fatal injuries from the impact of the crash. He died at the scene.

No one else was hurt.

Area investigators have yet to determine the reason that caused Vasquez to lose control of his car.
