San Antonio – Food Truck Crashed on US 90, Kills Girl

A seven-year-old girl died following a major vehicle collision on US Highway 90 near West Military Drive, last February 1st, Saturday.

According to the initial investigation, a 2009 Honda Accord was traveling along the eastbound lane of Hwy 90 when it left the roadway, struck a guardrail and flipped over. The vehicle continued on and collided with a food truck. An occupant in the Honda, a 7-year-old girl, sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash. She was immediately taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Two more occupants in the Honda were taken to the hospital with one listed in serious condition. It was not confirmed how they are related to the child.

Police said the Honda was traveling at an unsafe speed when it had a blowout and crashed.

An investigation is underway.
