San Antonio – Driver Checking Damage on Highway 90 Struck and Killed by Car

A tragic accident on Highway 90 caused the death of one person, early Sunday morning.
According to reports, a vehicle was heading west on Highway 90 when it struck a vehicle which had stalled on the side of the road near General Hudnell. When the driver stepped out of his vehicle to check on the damaged car, he was then hit by another vehicle, leaving him seriously injured. He had already succumbed to his injuries when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The driver of the third vehicle, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries. His condition was not immediately disclosed. Meanwhile, occupants in the first car were not hurt.
San Antonio Police Department is still investigating the details surrounding the accident. No charges have been filed at this time.
