San Antonio- Crash kills one on Loop 410

Police are still investigating a car accident that killed one, January 1.
According to initial reports, the collision took place on Loop 410 at around 6:30 p.m. A Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling south on Loop 410 when, for yet unknown reasons, it went out of control. The vehicle then crashed into a concrete divider.
The passenger of the Chevrolet was ejected from the vehicle and landed on the highway where he was struck by several vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt. No identification has been released.
The drivers of the vehicles that struck the victim remained at the scene. It remains unknown if the driver of the Chevrolet sustained injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
