San Antonio – Boy Airlifted to Hospital Following ATV Collision on Pioneer Estates

Last Thursday, a boy was sent to the hospital after getting injured in an ATV Collision on Pioneer Estates.

In an unspecified time last January 2nd, police were called onto the 5500 block of Pioneer Estates after they received a call reporting an accident. According to the initial investigation, an ATV was seen traveling along Pioneer Estates when it was struck by a Ford pickup truck that was traveling along Highway 90. As a result, the 10-year-old boy, who was operating the ATV, suffered from serious injuries. He was immediately taken to University Hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately determined. Meanwhile, his passenger, a 6-year-old girl, was not hurt.

No other injuries were reported.

San Antonio police have yet to determine if the driver of the pickup truck will be facing charges. The crash remains under investigation.
