San Antonio – Bicyclist Killed in Collision with a Car on Highway 151

A bicycle vs vehicle accident on Highway 151 caused the death of one person, according to a local news source.
San Antonio police officers responded to Highway 151 near 36th Street after receiving a call reporting a crash just after 9:30 p.m. An initial investigation indicates that a bicyclist was traveling along the highway when a passing vehicle struck him. The impact of the collision killed the rider instantly. He was only identified as a man in his 20s or 30s.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist pulled over a few yards from the scene of the crash. Police said the vehicle sustained serious damages on its front end and roof. It was not confirmed if he was hurt.
No citations have been issued as the investigation is still in progress.
