San Antonio – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash South Zarzamora St

A man was pronounced deceased after getting struck by a truck on South Zarzamora Street, according to San Antonio police.
At around 4:00 a.m., local officers were dispatched to South Zarzamora St near Texas A&M University-San Antonio following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. Police said a man was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a passing pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck pulled over and offered aid to the unidentified victim. He told the police that he did not see the victim.
The victim was already lifeless when local officers arrived at the scene. He was pronounced deceased by medical responders. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No charges are planned against the driver, as per San Antonio investigators.
