San Antonio – Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on Old Highway 90

The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation about a pedestrian collision on Old Highway 90, Tuesday.
At around 7:20 p.m., local police officers responded to 5800 Old Highway 90 to assist in an accident involving a pedestrian and vehicle. According to initial reports, a woman was attempting to cross the roadway when a passing minivan struck her. The impact of the crash killed the female pedestrian on scene. Her identification was withheld.
Local investigators were also requested at the scene. They said the woman was not in a crosswalk when the accident took place and the driver attempted to avoid the victim but was not able to.
No one else was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
