San Antonio – 18-Wheeler Accident near Wiseman Boulevard

A rear-end collision on Texas Loop 1604 resulted in the death of one person, according to a local news source.
At around 8:00 a.m., a car was traveling along the roadway, near Wiseman Boulevard, when it crashed into the rear side of an 18-wheeler truck that was on the side of the access road. The driver of the car sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has yet to be released. Fortunately, the driver of the semi-truck was unharmed.
Based on the initial report, the driver of the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed. It was not clear if he was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
