San Antonio – 1 Airlifted to Hospital Following a Crash on Pleasanton Road

A Sunday morning crash injured at least five people on Pleasanton Road in San Antonio, according to Bexar County Fire officials.
At around 8:50 a.m., a vehicle was seen traveling on the 24000 block of Pleasanton Road when it collided with a vehicle carrying four occupants. The impact of the collision was so great that the victims had to be extricated from the wreckage. Local paramedics said that five people sustained various injuries as a result of the crash. One victim was rushed to a nearby hospital via AirLife for further medical attention.
Authorities did not release the victim’s condition and their identification.
How the crash took place is yet to be determined by San Antonio law enforcement officials. Based on a preliminary investigation, one vehicle reportedly crossed the line which resulted in a collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
