San Antionio – T-Bone collision on FM 78

A collision involving two vehicles caused the death of one person and injured another on Farm to Market Road 78 near Rittiman Road, reports say.
San Antonio police department responded to the intersection at Rittiman Road after receiving a crash report, late Saturday night. According to the report, a Dodge Charger was heading west on Foster Road at an unsafe speed when it collided with a truck that was making a turn to FM 78. The force of the impact sent both vehicles crashing into a steel fence, landing on a ditch.
The driver of the truck, who was not identified, was pronounced dead following the accident. The driver of the Dodge was identified as 18-year-old Justin Trejo. It was not determined if he sustained any injury.
Three occupants of the Dodge were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment of their injuries that were considered minor. Their identifications were not immediately released.
