San Angelo – Two Injured After Car Crashed into Building on North Chadbourne Street

A Sunday morning collision on North Chadbourne Street sent two people to a hospital, according to a local news source.
Just before 1:00 a.m., San Angelo police officers were requested at the 500 block of North Chadbourne Street to assist in a crash. An initial investigation showed that a black Dodge Charger, for yet unknown reasons, drove over a median strip and crashed into a number of road signs and metal barriers. The Dodge came to a full stop after crashing into a building at the Concho Valley Transit District. When police arrived at the scene, they found the Dodge still embedded in the building.
A man and a woman were
rushed to a nearby hospital where they were treated for their injuries that were considered minor. Their identification was not immediately released. The driver of the vehicle, described only as a Hispanic female, fled the scene before authorities arrived. He has not been located at this time.
