San Angelo – Truck Crash on Van Buren Street Injures 1

Last Monday, a man was injured following a truck crash on Van Buren Street, San Angelo local officials reported.
According to initial reports, the incident happened at the 2500 block of Van Buren St which involved a mail truck and a pickup truck. A Ford F-350 pickup truck had been traveling along the roadway when it crashed into a mailtruck that was parked on the side. The impact of the collision left an occupant in the truck with head injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries that were considered non-life-threatening. Police said he was a mail carrier.
Meanwhile, the driver was cited for unable to control speed. He was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
