San Angelo – Pedestrian Crash on N Chadbourne St

A teenage pedestrian was hospitalized after getting struck by a vehicle on North Chadbourne Street, Wednesday.

At around 7:30 a.m., local troopers responded to East 7th Street near North Chadbourne after they received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. According to the report, a pedestrian was heading west on East 7th when she was hit by a 2012 Nissan Versa that was traveling along the southbound lane of N Chadbourne. The impact of the crash left the pedestrian with non-incapacitating injuries. She was sent to Shannon Medical Center via ambulance. Authorities only identified the victim as a 14-year-old female teen who was heading to school during the accident.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the Nissan that struck the teen had a green light when the collision took place. No citations were issued.
