San Angelo – Multi-Car Crash on Sherwood Way Leaves 1 Hurt

At least one person was sent to the hospital following a major accident involving several vehicles on Sherwood Way in San Angelo, Friday afternoon.
At around 5:00 p.m., San Angelo local troopers were dispatched to Sherwood Way to assist in a four-vehicle accident. According to the initial investigation, a number of vehicles were waiting for their green light at the said street when one of them was not able to slow down on time and ended up striking one car. The said vehicle was then pushed into another, prompting a chain reaction.
One occupant in one of the vehicles involved suffered from non-life-threatening injuries. He was given medical treatment on scene.
The driver of the first vehicle was cited for failing to control speed.
An investigation is underway.
