San Angelo – Multi-Car Crash on Sherwood Way Injures 2

Two people were sent to a hospital following a major vehicle collision on Sherwood Way in San Angelo, Friday.
According to police, DPS troopers were called onto Sherwood Way in response to a call reporting a vehicle collision. A dump truck was seen traveling along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it ran a red light and crashed into two vehicles as they entered the cross street near Loop 306. The force of the impact left at least two people with injuries. They were both taken to the nearest hospital where they were given medical attention. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed by medical personnel.
The San Angelo Police Department was requested at the scene to determine liability. An investigation is underway.
