San Angelo – Auto Collision Leaves 1 Injured

A single-vehicle collision on Paint Rock Road near High Butte Drive sent one person to the hospital, Tuesday.
At around 9:30 p.m., a vehicle was seen traveling along the road when it left the road and struck a fence and a utility pole. It continued on and struck another fence and ended up in a house nearby. The driver of the undescribed vehicle sustained injuries and was immediately taken to a local hospital for treatment. However, the extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
Responding officers withheld the driver’s identification pending notification of his immediate family relatives.
No one else was injured.
San Angelo law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about the incident. The driver told authorities he fell asleep prior to the crash.
