San Angelo— At Least 3 Injured Following Collision on Knickerbocker Road

The San Angelo Police department is conducting an investigation about a car accident on Knickerbocker Road that sent three people to a hospital, Friday afternoon.
At around 3:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to a crash at Knickerbocker Road and South Bryant Boulevard which involved two vehicles. An initial investigation indicated that a passenger vehicle failed to give way to a southbound SUV while making a left turn from South Bryant to Knickerbocker, resulting in a collision.
The force impact of injured occupants from both vehicles. Three of them were rushed to a hospital for treatment. However, medical crews did specify whether their injuries were life-threatening.
Knickerbocker was temporarily shut down for clearing but was later reopened at around 4:00 p.m.
Details about the situation leading up to the accident remains unclear as of this writing.
The crash remains under investigation.
