Rylie – Edgar Samayoa, 23, ID’d Victim of Motorcycle Collision on Edd Road

A 23-year-old motorcycle rider died after collided with a vehicle on Edd Road, Tuesday night.
At around 9:00 p.m., Dallas police officers received a notification reporting a crash at the 1700 block of Edd Road. In the report released by police, a Kawasaki motorcycle had been traveling along the southbound lane when a Toyota Highlander that was heading north drove into its path, prompting a collision. The rider was not able to avoid the vehicle and struck its passenger side. He was ejected from his motorcycle upon impact.
The rider, who was identified as Edgar Samayoa, 23, was taken to a local hospital where he died shortly after. The Toyota’s driver stayed at the scene to speak with officers. It was not clear if he sustained injuries.
An investigation is underway.
