Rusk County – Motorcycle Collision on Texas 149 Leaves 1 Injured

At least one person was injured after a motorcycle accident on State Highway 149, Tuesday.

Just before 7:00 p.m., local troopers were called onto Texas 149, near the intersection of County Road 2192, in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. Initial investigation shows that a motorcycle had been traveling along the highway when it crashed into a vehicle that was also on the roadway. The exact details of the incident are yet to be determined.

One person sustained injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where he was given proper medical treatment. His condition and identification were not immediately disclosed.

The Rusk County Police Department was also requested at the scene to determine liability. An investigation is still in progress.
