Rowlett—Pedestrian Accident on Dalrock Road

The pedestrian who died after getting struck by a car on Dalrock Road has been identified by local authorities last Friday morning.
At around 2:50 a.m., the Rowlett police officers responded to a fatal crash at the bridge on Dalrock Road over Interstate 30. When they arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian lying on the ground. According to initial reports, Harthan was walking on the road when a vehicle hit him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Medical examiners identified the victim as 40-year-old Andrew Harthan.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. He was not injured.
Investigators are requested at the scene to determine liability. How the crash took place is yet to be released by police.
