Robert Lee – 1 Struck and Injured by Car on SH 158

A man was hospitalized after getting hit by a vehicle along Texas Highway 158.

Last Sunday, police were dispatched to the intersection of SH 158 near State Highway 208 near San Angelo. When they arrived at the scene, they found a person pinned under the vehicle, suffering from fatal injuries. He was extricated from the car and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately disclosed by authorities.

The driver was not injured.

How the crash happened remains unclear at this time. Anyone who has information about the collision is encouraged to get in contact with local investigators.
