Reagan – One Died Following Highway 6 Crash

At least one person was pronounced deceased after a vehicle accident on Highway 6 near Farm to Market Road 143, Wednesday.

According to initial reports, a passenger vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it left the road, rolled over, and came to rest in a riverbed. An occupant in the vehicle sustained significant injuries and was killed at the scene. His identity was withheld by responding officers pending notification of his immediate family relatives.

No other injuries were reported.

The Reagan Police Department was requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to get in contact with local authorities.

An investigation is ongoing.
