Port Arthur – Pedestrian Crash on Memorial Boulevard

A woman was sent to the hospital after getting hit by a car on Memorial Boulevard in Port Arthur, Thursday evening.
At around 10:00 p.m., police officers were called onto the 2600 block of Memorial Boulevard to assist in a car accident. According to the initial reports, a female pedestrian was seen attempting to get to the other side of the road when she was struck by a car traveling along the roadway. The impact of the crash left the woman with serious injuries. She was immediately taken to the nearest hospital where she was listed in an unknown condition.
Responding officers did not release information about the driver of the vehicle involved.
No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
