Port Arthur – Man Struck and Injured by Car on Rosedale Drive

A man was sent to a hospital following a pedestrian accident on Rosedale Drive in Port Arthur, Saturday morning.
At around 6:00 a.m., a pedestrian vs car collision was reported at the 1800 block of Rosedale Drive. According to the initial reports, a man was seen walking along the northbound lane of the road when he was hit by a car that was heading north. The force of the impact left the victim with a serious head injury. He was transported to the nearest hospital where he received proper medical treatment. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No one else was reportedly injured.
Port Arthur police are still investigating the incident. This is a developing story.
