Polk County – 58-year-old Donald Wolfe Died in Semi-Trailer Crash on US 59

The Alto driver who was killed after a vehicle accident on US 59 has been identified by Polk County local officials, reports say.
The fatality was identified as 58-year-old Donald Wolfe.
A preliminary investigation shows that Wolfe was driving a 2013 Peterbilt truck carrying timber along the southbound lane of US 59, four miles north of Corrigan. At around 1:25 p.m., the truck then crashed into a concrete barrier, went off the roadway, and struck a wood line. Authorities said the truck rolled over a number of times before coming to rest.
Wolfe sustained significant injuries from the force of the impact. He was rushed to a hospital in Livingston where he was declared deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
Local investigators arrived at the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
