HOUSTON, TX – Police say suspects intentionally hit the victim of a fatal June hit-and-run collision, according to KHOU 11.
23-year-old Justin Ortiz, a student at UH-Downtown, was traveling with friends on motorcycles near Lockwood and the East Freeway on June 27. A blue BMW neared the group, hitting one of Ortiz’s friends who was not seriously hurt. A black Chevrolet Tahoe then hit Ortiz, fatally injuring him.
Neither car stopped at the scene. Investigators believe that both cars intentionally hit the motorcyclists. If you have information about the situation, contact the Houston Police Department.
