Plainview – Pedestrian Killed in FM 400

Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation about a pedestrian collision on Farm to Market Road 400 near Lancaster Street in Hale County, according to a local news source.

At around 6:30 a.m., police responded to a crash near Lancaster St. A man was attempting to get to the other side of the road when a passing vehicle struck him. The impact of the crash left Cedillo with fatal injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he received proper medical treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures. His identification has yet to be released.

Police did not release information about the driver of the car. Whether or not he stayed at the scene remains unclear at this time.

An investigation is underway.
