Pickup truck driver arrested after suspected DWI crash kills motorcyclist in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – The driver of a pickup truck police believed to be responsible for a fatal motorcycle crash was taken into custody on Saturday night.
According to Fox 26 Houston, the accident was reported at about 2:30 a.m. along Highway 6, just north of the Westheimer Road intersection.
Investigators say the driver of the pickup turned in front of the motorcyclist while they were attempting to make a U-turn, causing the two to collide.
After conducting a sobriety test, the driver was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence.
The identities of those involved are unavailable at this time.
