Person sent to hospital after 2 motorcycles collide with ambulance

HOUSTON, TX – One person was hospitalized after two motorcycles collided with an ambulance en route to the hospital this afternoon in southeast Houston, according to KTRK.
The crash happened at about 1 p.m. on Griggs and Calhoun Roads, when two motorcyclists reportedly failed to yield for an ambulance with a patient inside.
One of those motorcycles T-boned the ambulance, sending its operator to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
None of the ambulance’s occupants were hurt in the accident.
