Person in wheelchair killed in accident in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A person in a wheelchair was killed in a car accident in southeast Houston on Friday morning, according to the team at ABC 13.
The wheelchair user was attempting to cross the street at Holmes Road near Scott Street around 6 a.m. Authorities say the area was dimly lit and the driver did not appear to be intoxicated.
The victim has not been identified.
