Pedestrian suffers critical wounds after being hit by car on Fry Rd

KATY, TX – A pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being hit by a car in western Harris County last night, according to KPRC2 and Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The collision occurred at 1944 Fry Road, when a man walking across the street was hit by a 19-year-old driver.
The pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is not thought to have been under the influence.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
