Pedestrian struck, killed while running on North Fwy.

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after being struck by a minivan while running on the North Freeway late Sunday night.
According to a report by HPD, the man was hit while running in the main lanes of the freeway, near the Sam Houston Tollway interchange.
The driver of the vehicle involved, a Chevrolet Express van, cooperated with the police and was subsequently released.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation.
