Pedestrian killed, motorcyclist hospitalized following North Loop crash

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a motorcyclist while crossing the North Loop last Thursday morning.
According to a report by HPD, the crash occurred at about 3:10 a.m. within the 900 block of North Loop West Freeway, near the Durham Drive overpass.
Police say the unidentified pedestrian was walking on the interstate when they were struck by a Honda motorcycle.
Both the pedestrian and the motorcyclist were rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The pedestrian, an unidentified 29-year-old female, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Saturday.
The current status of the motorcyclist is unclear at this time.
