Pedestrian killed in wreck on Dashwood Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in a wreck on Dashwood Drive on the afternoon of Sunday, January 10, the Houston Police Department reports.

The 63-year-old male victim was crossing the road at 6200 Dashwood Drive, not in a crosswalk, when he was hit by the driver of an oncoming GMC Sierra pickup truck. Immediately after the crash, the driver got out of his vehicle and attempted to render aid to the victim.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday, January 11. No charges have been filed.
