Pedestrian killed in north Houston accident

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in an accident in north Houston on the night of Monday, August 24, KHOU 11 reports.
The victim was standing on a curb at the intersection of North Shepherd and West Little York when he was hit by a passing vehicle that veered off the side of the road. He was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities are working to determine what led to the incident.
