Pedestrian killed in Easter-morning collision in W Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in a collision early Easter morning in western Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened east of Four Corners, near the intersection of Bissonnet Street and Eldridge Parkway, before 5:30 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a driver.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, died as a result.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
