Pedestrian killed in crash on John Ralston Road

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A pedestrian was killed in a fatal collision on John Ralston Road on the night of Friday, June 5, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.
The office reports that Larry Kiel was driving a white 1994 Chevrolet pickup on John Ralston Road when he struck Brandon Curtis, who was standing in the middle of the roadway. Curtis reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way to the truck.
He was killed upon impact. Kiel cooperated with authorities and was determined not to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
