Pedestrian killed in collision with vehicle on the Katy Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed in a collision with a vehicle on the Katy Freeway this morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
Our vehicular crimes investigators are on scene of a fatal auto/pedestrian crash that happened on the outbound lanes of the 1-10 Katy Freeway near Fry Road about 6:10 am.

The accident was reported near the Katy Freeway’s intersection with Fry Road around 6:10 a.m. this morning. The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been reported, nor has the identity of the victim.
