Pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle on U.S. Highway 90

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 90 on Sunday morning, the Houston Police Department reports.

A pedestrian was crossing the main lanes near 13700 U.S. Highway 90 when he was struck by a red Honda Accord around 5:40 a.m. The driver of the car got out of her vehicle to check on her victim but he was killed upon impact. The Honda was then hit by a silver Mitsubishi SUV but no one was hurt.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
