Pedestrian killed after being hit by car on the North Loop

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car on the North Loop on Sunday morning, the Houston Police Department reports.
The victim was attempting to cross the main lanes near 3000 North Loop East when he was hit by an oncoming Ford F-250 truck. He was killed upon impact.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No charges have been filed.
