Pedestrian injured in Grand Pkwy accident in Richmond

RICHMOND, TX (FORT BEND COUNTY) – A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital following an accident on the Grand Parkway in Fort Bend County, according to KHOU.
The accident happened overnight, in the 7000 block of Grand Parkway northbound.
The unidentified victim was walking along the highway when he was hit by a female driver, also unidentified at this time. The victim was airlifted to the hospital, and his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.
The driver remained at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the investigation. She is not believed to have been under the influence.
She is unlikely to face charges.
