Pedestrian hit by car and killed while walking across 610 S Loop

HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed tonight while he was walking across the 610 South Loop, according to KPRC2.
The unidentified male victim was crossing over the eastbound lanes of the freeway around 9:15 p.m. when he was struck by a car and killed.
The accident happened near Highway 288 and Almeda Road.
Authorities have blocked several lanes of traffic for the cleanup and investigation of the accident.
